چکیده

In formulating balanced rations for ruminants, knowing the chemical composition of forage and feeds in general is crucial to create adequate nutritional plans that meet animals’ feed requirements. From July December 2020, a total 175 samples corn silage hybrid PR31Y43 grown (135 days maturity class) three sites (Piana del Sele, Vallo di Diano Caserta) Campania region (South Italy) were collected analysed by using portable Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS). The area cultivation/storage highly (p < 0.05) affected characteristics samples. silages produced showed significantly highest DM content compared those from other (349.3 vs. 323.4 328.1 g/kg as Caserta Piana respectively). structural carbohydrates higher Sele than both (420.1 396.7 397.6 feed), whereas non-fibrous 0.05; 469.6 471.8 feed); intermediate values registered (446.6 feed). No differences detected protein levels. NIRS technology could be useful obtain fast accurate picture quality. knowledge can improve formulation rations, contributing guarantee animal welfare good productive performances.

brain near-infrared spectroscopy (nirs)

near-infrared spectroscopy (nirs) is a spectroscopic method that uses the near-infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum. typical applications include medical and physiological diagnostics. nirs can be used for non-invasive assessment of brain function through the intact skull in human subjects by detecting changes in blood hemoglobin concentrations associated with neural activity, e.g., ...

Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS)

Near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) is a noninvasive optical technology that relies on the relative transparency of biological tissues to near infrared light (700-900 nm) to determine tissue oxygenation. Oxy and deoxy hemoglobin and cytochrome aa3 possess distinct absorption characteristics in the near infrared spectrum. By monitoring absorption at wavelengths where oxyand deoxyhemoglobin and cyt...

Estimating Nitrogen and Acid Detergent Fiber Contents of Grass Species using Near Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS)

Chemical assessments of forage clearly determine the forage quality; however, traditional methods of analysis are somehow time consuming, costly, and technically demanding. Near Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS) has been reported as a method for evaluating chemical composition of agriculture products, food, and forage and has several advantages over chemical analyses such as conducting c...

Potential of Near-Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS) to Predict Nutrient Composition of Bromus tomentellus

Determination of forage quality of available species is one of the fundamentalfactors for the management of rangelands. Near-Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS)was used to analysis the Nitrogen (N), Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF), Dry MatterDigestibility (DMD) and Metabolizable Energy (ME) content of three phenological stages(vegetative, flowering and seeding) of Bromus tomentellus samples in ...

Near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) distinguishes seizure types

Near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) is a noninvasive method for bedside measurement of cerebral oxygenation (SaO(2)). The purpose of this study was to establish differences in SaO(2)for complex partial seizures (CPS) and rapidly secondarily generalized CPS (RCPS). We studied eight adults with medically refractory epilepsy undergoing evaluation for temporal lobectomy. We continually measured cereb...
